Banh Duc Bot Gao
Amazing Vietnamese recipe! These ones I made with the momma this weekend is Southern Vietnamese styled 'banh duc' cake. It takes such a long process to make (not as long as making home-made soybean drinks on Friday night!)
The result! Obviously you'll need to heat it up before consuming. May I suggest crab sauce with it? =)
No recipe at the time! It'll take too long to write up, hopefully I can get it up for you guys within the next few days? But if no one's reading this.. am I talking to myself again?! Whew... ;)

How has your style or outlook on fashion changed since you started this blog? Before I got into blogging, my style wasn't very coordinated, err, balanced, actually. Over accessorized! I barely accessorize the past 2 years! My style is very Audrey Hepburn these days, but I like that.
If you owned a boutique with all your favorite brands, what city would it be in, what would it look like? Definitely it would be in Paris, err I mean, New York, wait no! That's a tough one, but I guess if I must, must answer, then Paris would be it. It would look something like Coco Chanel's very first business shop, yes I have an obsession. ;)
Have you ever made a piece of clothing? Oh my goodness, haha, plenty! It is kind of crazy but I pretty much consider myself a designer. Take a look in my closet someday!

What have you been addicted to in the past? Zhu Zhu pets! Ha, they're wonderful little things, in fact, I just got one at 5 this morning. One of the little ones that come with the ball for the hamster!

I'm into such things as karma, astrology, cleaning (I'm a neat freak), playing with the neighborhood kids, haha =) Oh yes, as for astrology, I'm totally into the whole enchilada, the whole observing-and-predicting-your-sign-and-know-everything-about-you kind =)
When you're shopping do you have some sort of budget or you just buy whatever you feel like no matter what the cost? Even if I was a Paris Hilton, I would still have my limit. I've always thought it strange to spend over 100 on clothing in 1 day. That is just crazy.

Are you a social butterfly around your peers or are you more reserved? A little bit of both. It depends on the environment I am in. If there are more people around, I tend to be louder. If it's a quit place, I like to be left alone so I can get work done. I can get serious :)
Do you read all your comments? I don't get a lot of those, like I mentioned before, teens don't read blogs. It would be generous if I got some once in a while, I would very much appreciate that!
Who do you think is the most beautiful celebrity woman? Scarlett Johansson, she's absolutely beautiful!
What is your main incentive behind putting together creative outfits? The motif is to feel good and confident about yourself. If you feel comfortable and beautiful in how you are dressed, they have more confident doing things you do regularly in a day. We don't do it for the boys, so don't get that crazy idea. =)
What would be the perfect day for you? Sleeping in, getting up late, having hot cocoa and scrambled eggs in the late afternoon.

Would you rather be a model in Paris or a musician in Barcelona? Musician in Barcelona sounds absolutely perfect.
Would you rather be an artist in San Francisco or a dancer in New York? Dancer in New york, obviously because it's one of my favorite places in the UNIVERSE. However, if the other choice were artist in a country instead of San Fransisco, I probably would have went with whatever that was.
Do you tend to stick to more classical pieces on the piano or do you also like playing jazz and contemporary stuff? Are you good at improvising? Classical pieces most definitely, I do love jazz music but I find it easier to relax to classical songs. Improvising? What is improvising? I will look that up, ha.

Do you use make-up? What make-up do you use on daily basis? Yes, but not a lot. So basically, I don't go all out on expensive makeup, I just don't find it necessary. That's just me though. :)
How did you find 'your own style'? My personality is pretty conservative, so I tend to dress more like that. Plus, I love the way women dressed in the earlier times, the "classy" women. The style makes me feel beautiful and confident, I'll never have to worry that I'm overdoing or under-doing myself.

What "group" would you say you are part of in High School? I don't really have a "group". But I guess as a Senior now, everyone gets along, and everyone knows/talks to each other. We're all the same. =)

I was introduced to the music group by my Government teacher in class one day, those of you that have Balzotti, probably notices the strange Italian music every morning, this is what it is! Is it December yet? ;)
The Pumpkin Spice Lattes and Peppermint are back @ Starbucks! =) What could be better than amazing hot coffee and playing X-Mas music at 5 in the morning during the winter time? Other then all the cute comfy winter clothes and sleeping in during break, I'm counting it down. 5 1/2 more weeks! & if I'm wrong please let me know, i'm not keeping up with dates latley. :P

Who Owns My Heart =)
No, she's just growing up. :) It's a part of life, something that everyone will need to learn to accept. Fans need to realize that she is not always going to be a Disney girl, she's an adult now. At one point, I was one of those people that was against Miley's provocative actions, but I am realizing that she's no different from us. Only that she's rich & famous. I love Miley as a person for the fact that she clearly DOES NOT care what anti-fans & haters say, she will be herself and nobody else. I am sure she's done some things that we didn't approve of but are we so perfect to speak about another person. Imperfections are part of human qualities so to be perfect and not make any mistakes would make us inhumane. Maybe we can all learn something from her? Check out her new music video, hot stuff! ;)

Here We Go Again :)
Homecoming night '10, one night I'm always going to remember! What's so amazing about Homecoming dance and what gets everyone so excited about it? Maybe it's because it is the one night when everyone can put all their differences aside to get together on one huge dance floor. It didn't matter who we hated or did not like, cus in the moment, we all came together to that one place with same purpose, we just wanted to have fun and forget about everything bad. It was about making high school memories :) As a Senior, I have no regrets even though I have done some things I was not so proud of, but there's a reason we make them, is to learn from them in order to become a better person. No matter how many times you're going to fall, at least you're always going to have your friends with you to pick you up along the way! As high school is almost over for me, it does not mean this is the end of the chapter, but it's a whole new beginning. Time to make more memories Seniors! :)
